Draw a closed polyline of the roof contour. (see picture)

Measures are in meters. Put it in an isometric view.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If you want to see what is possible to do see this complementary information. For a step by step more "classic" roof have a look down please.

see next picture

kindly see the next picture to go ahead.

and finaly...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Extrude the polyline as text in the picture

If you want a roof with an inclination of 15 degrees you must introduce in the taper angle 90 –15 = 75 .

Now we need to close the top of the roof.

How? Using the Solids Editing toolbar we will chose Offset Faces.

And then we will proceed as in the following picture  We can get one of these results…

Or to Offset faces only 1 meter and then the result will be this

Use your imagination to explore the potential of AutoCAD.

View / print / export AutoCAD CTB’s/STB’s

Uma excelente ferramenta para exportar CTB's e STB's para arquivos/ficheiros de texto.

PlotStyleViewer: View / print / export AutoCAD CTB's/STB's
Somebody asked me about the file format of AutoCAD plot styles. I didn't have a direct answer, but a later hint from the same person helped me quite a bit further. This inspired me to create a CTB/STB view/print application that works completely independent of AutoCAD and Autodesk tools! The program consists of just one executable file, there are no other exe's or dll's needed. It should work with CTB's/STB's from AutoCAD 2000 upto the latest version. The purpose of this tool is that you can view CTB's, print them and save as text file that you can open in Excel etc.
I am not 100% sure if I fully understand how all data in the tables should be interpreted (but it seems to work well). So... your feedback is always welcome.
